Everyone wants to lose weight fast.

It’s the holy grail of grease-chasers and milkshake gulpers.

It’s our own fault really.

We always take the path of least resistance and want everything handed to us without having to do any of the work.

If you’re looking for an easy way to lose weight fast, there have been few I have seen that work as well as what I’m about to tell you.

In fact, these are based on scientific evidence, and, if you read the whole article, I’m going to share a very special way to lose 30 lbs in 30 days.

Granted, there is still work involved.

So if you’re one of those people who doesn’t want to put in the time or the effort to make yourself healthy, you’re never going to find that ‘magic pill’ which is going to make your weight disappear.

You’ve got to do the work.

If you’re ready to work, and would like to lose weight fast, read these 3 scientific strategies to help you do it.

#1 – Cut Back on Sugar and Starches

Sugars and starches are the foods which secrete insulin the most in your body. Cutting back on these specific foods will help you reduce insulin which is the main fat storage hormone in the body.

Scientific evidence has proved when insulin goes down the fat which is stored in your body can escape the “storage locker” in which the insulin has placed them in. When this happens the fat is “free” and your body begins to burn fats instead of carbs.

Another great benefit of lowering your insulin is the age-old “water weight” problem. Lowered insulin means your kidneys shed excess sodium and water out of your body which will help you with bloat and reduce your water weight.

Water weight is one of the biggest reasons most people can say they’ve lost 10 pounds in a week once they commit to a healthy diet.

The low carb group is eating until they are full, while the low calorie group is eating too, but are still hungry and calorie-restricted.

#2 – Eat Protein, Fat, and Vegetables

Your diet should be your main concern when it comes to weight loss.

Protein, fat, and veggies is what you should be focusing on. No, not the Oreo-kind-of-fats, but the good fats!

But let’s start with the vegetables that are scientifically proven to burn fat fast!

Here’s a list of all the vegetables you should eat:

  1. Spinach
  2. Sun-dried tomatoes
  3. Guava
  4. Artichokes
  5. Peas

When it comes to the flubber-frying protein, make sure you stick with the lean meats.

A lot of this stuff I had never heard of, however, if you look closely, they can be substituted easily for breads and certain dairy foods and are located in a lot of your local grocery stores.

4 Ways To Lose Belly Fat

Have you got the guts?

The number one reason most people want to diet is because they want to lose belly fat.

It’s the bread basket.

The gate keeper of all your chocolate desires.

And it tells on you when you’ve had too much.

I want to focus on four ways you can lose belly fat in this article and have you on the right track.

Ready? Let’s do it!

Visceral Fat vs. Subcutaneous Fat

Your visceral fat, or belly fat is really hard to determine.

That stuff is wrapped around your internal organs and found inside your abdominal cavity and it’s hard to understand how much belly fat you truly have.

However, when you have a protruding belly and a larger than average waist, then you can rest assure you probably have too much hanging out in there.

On the other hand, subcutaneous fat is fat which is stored just below your skin.

This is the fat in which you can pinch easily from just about anywhere on your body. The good news is, while that’s kinda aggravating, subcutaneous fat isn’t as harmful as visceral fat is.

Studies have shown an excess in visceral fat is linked to Type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and even certain cancers.

But you still want rid of it don’t you?

Yes!

Now that you kinda understand the difference between the two, let’s discuss how to lose belly fat.

#1 – Limit Alcohol Intake

Drinking too much alcohol will harm both your health and your waistline.

In fact, several studies have shown drinking too much alcohol encouraged fat to be stored as visceral fat and people who drink the most alcohol in this study also had the largest waist circumference.

Another study in 87 women found that a moderate alcohol intake was also linked to an enlarged visceral fat intake as well.

So the term “Beer Belly” isn’t just something a dude told you about, it’s a common thing within your social circles and it’s important to police how much, if any at all, alcohol your body is allowed to consume on a daily basis.

If you want to lose belly fat start monitoring your alcohol intake.

#2 – Limit Added Sugar Intake

You don’t need me to tell you that added sugar is very unhealthy for your body.

It is high in calories and provides no added nutrients and eating too much of it will definitely cause weight gain.

Added sugar roughly contains 50% fructose, which is a simple sugar metabolized by the liver.

In very large amounts, fructose can be metabolized into fat by the liver.

Think about how much added sugar is in your daily diet and how many unnatural sources of fructose you are consuming.

#3 – Eat More Protein

Protein is the most important nutrient for fat loss…anywhere on your body.

Eating more protein can fend off hunger by increasing levels of your fullness hormones and also reduce levels of the hunger hormone ghrelin.

Scientists studied over 28,000 adults and this study showed that a higher protein intake was linked to a lower body mass index, higher “good” cholesterol, and a smaller waist circumference, which, as you know, is a marker of visceral fat.

#4 – Have a Healthier Lifestyle

I don’t have to tell you in order to lose belly fat, you need to have a healthy lifestyle.

You know that.

But what you may not know is that every weight loss program isn’t right for you (such as ours).
